Coca-Cola digital menu display

Coca-Cola's retail partners needed a menu that did more than list drinks. We designed a digital display built to sell, then wired it into their CMS so any location can update products and promos in seconds.

Design approach

User research

We ran surveys, interviews and on-site observation to understand how staff and customers actually used the existing menu system, surfacing the pain points and the biggest opportunities to improve.

Wireframing & prototyping

Those insights fed a set of wireframes and interactive prototypes. Iterative testing and feedback made sure the flows worked for both Coca-Cola and the people standing in front of the screen.

Visual design

We designed to Coca-Cola's brand guidelines: vibrant imagery, clear typography and a layout that keeps the experience simple and appetizing.

CMS integration

The display plugs into Coca-Cola's existing CMS, so products, promotions and special offers can be updated in real time without touching a designer.

Key takeaways

  • UX as a competitive advantage: an intuitive, well-designed display strengthened how customers perceived the brand.
  • Real-time content management: CMS integration let the team tailor offerings on the fly for different clients and locations.
  • The value of research: talking to real users up front produced a design that actually fit the way they order.
